The intersectoral initiative and its four enabling organizations cover a large spectrum of scientific fields, from human and social sciences, to health and rehabilitation, and the natural sciences and engineering.
The research projects will therefore be articulated around intersectoral research themes that will foster the scientific complementarity needed to address the main issues of the initiative. The selected themes were identified during the Inclusive Society Forum held in January 2014 and the consultations conducted by the enablers of the initiative. These themes will be revised periodically by the Committee of Partners to make sure that the research priorities meet the needs and preoccupations of the community and the partners.
