Inclusive Society invites you to an activity on the theme of transportation and social inclusion of people with disabilities.
Mark your agenda! The event will take place on May 11, 2021 from 10am to 12pm on Zoom.
Since 2017, Inclusive Society teams have been interested in this important issue, leading to partnership research projects. Several themes have been explored, such as access to regular public transit or driving by people with disabilities.
During our activity, three research teams funded by Inclusive Society will be present to discuss the transportation issue, presenting their results and possible solutions:
- Training/coaching to facilitate the use of accessible bus and metro systems by people with motor functional limitations
- Training and familiarization in the use of the regular public transit system: a status report on needs and resources for people with disabilities
- Driver training for adolescents and young adults with disabilities: Support for the development of a coaching process based on factors promoting driving and self-determination
To participate, simply register before May 7, 2021 at 4 pm, by filling out the online form.
The day before the event, you will receive an email with the complete program and the Zoom connection link.
If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact a member of the Inclusive Society team by email: firstname.lastname@example.org.
