Intersectoral Symposium – Inclusive and Empathetic Communities

On October 2, 2026, join us for our Intersectoral Symposium “Inclusive and Empathetic Neighbourhoods: Imagining the Living Environments of Tomorrow”.
The day will feature keynote presentations, simultaneous panels, networking workshops, project presentations, as well as activities focused on knowledge mobilization and science communication.

Target Audience

This intersectoral conference will bring together community members, non-profit organizations, municipalities, decision-makers, professionals, and researchers to share inspiring initiatives, discover innovative solutions, and co-develop concrete action strategies.

2:15 – 2:30 PM: Activity presentation: Come imagine the future with us — a collaborative workshop to design concrete solutions
2:30 – 4:00 PM: Visit of 30 interactive booths — NOT TO BE MISSED
This exhibition will showcase inspiring Québec initiatives in accessibility, inclusion, social innovation, technology, culture, and civic participation.
4:00 – 4:45 PM: Closing keynote: Habitat 2075 Project (ÉcoGîter LLio)
4:45 – 5:00 PM: Closing remarks
5:00 – 5:30 PM: Inclusive artistic performance
5:30 – 7:00 PM: Networking cocktail (alcoholic beverages and hors d’oeuvres served)
